Product Description The Planet Waves Humidity and Temperature Sensor is specifically designed to help keep your instrument in optimal condition. The Planet Waves Humidity & Temperature Sensor (HTS) provides key the info you need to help maintain proper climatic conditions to avoid instrument damage. The HTS digitally indicates accurate relative humidity levels ranging from low (under 20%) to 99%. Temperature is displayed in both Fahrenheit or Centigrade ranging from 32oF to 122oF. A programmable set point monitors the minimum humidity desired. When humidity is below the set point, an icon (water drop) will indicate it is necessary to use a humidifier. The high and low memory indicates the highest and lowest temperature and humidity levels your instrument has been exposed to, as well as the date and time of that high and low, since the last reset.

less than expected December 4, 2007 E. Gokce (long island ny) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my Takamine and disappointed me after my first use. I have a humudifier with hyydro numbers on it and this never matched with that. But I accept the fact it gave me +3-3 numbers so I was OK with it. It comes also with stickers you can sort of put on your bookshelf but they fell down in 2 days.It has a cheesy workmanship and it gives you approximate numbers.Well deserved 2 stars.
very disappointed !!!! November 17, 2007 Alan Sung J. Pahng (usa) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
this made in china product seemed very appealing to me because of its memory capability for the humidity inside the guitar case. I purchased 4 of them since i own 4 different classical guitars as well as acoustic guitars each worth over $3000, and you can imagine my anxiety when the heater is on and the humidifier may not be enough to protect them. when i opened the box, the items looked o.k., but when i tested the hygrometerPlanet Waves Acoustic Guitar Humidifier with HTS the reading was WAY OFF. i actually put the hygrometer right in front of my humidifier and it barely changed its reading where as my other hygrometer detected it immediately. i hope the humidifier works better than the hygrometer......
