Amazon.com A whole generation of Americans grew up with the Osmond family, an exceptionally musical family of six brothers and one sister that has enjoyed success in the music industry for over 50 years. In this live reunion concert, dubbed "a celebration of looking back," Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie, and Jimmy Osmond perform some of their most popular hits onstage at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. The siblings sing in varying performing configurations including the five original Osmond Brothers, the seven Osmonds, and the duo Donny and Marie. Hits like "One Bad Apple," "Puppy Love," "Paper Roses," and the rock sensation "Crazy Horses" are delivered with feeling and are enthusiastically received by the multi-age audience. The Osmonds have matured over 50 years and their passion for music, innate musicality, rich harmonies, and devotion to one another as siblings are as strong as ever. Interspersed throughout the concert performance is interview footage with Andy Williams and all of the individual Osmonds as well as clips from various historical Osmond performances and interviews. The interviews touch upon everything from the Osmond children's start on The Andy Williams Show in the early 1960's to Donny's and Marie's roles as hosts of Donny and Marie from 1976-1979, the Osmond clan's involvement in virtually every aspect of the music business over the years, and the frenzied "Osmondmania" that swept through America and England in the 1970's. The extra "Thank God for Kids" track by Marie Osmond is especially moving and features a rare appearance by the eldest Osmond brothers Virl and Tom. --Tami Horiuchi

Osmonds in Las Vegas, 50 yr Reunion concert December 28, 2008 J. Lowe This was great, just wish I could have been there! Boy this bring back memories.... I have been an Osmond fan since I was old enough to watch tv. I remember watching them on the Andy Williams show when I was little. Truely priceless!
What a great time I had watching "The Osmonds Live in Vegas" December 2, 2008 Bob Waskiewicz (Wintersville, Ohio United States) I watched this DVD on PBS,and was so entertained,I had to buy the DVD.The different stages of there careers are featured, with the Osmond brothers,Donny, and Marie. You will not be dissapointed buying"The Osmonds Live in Vegas"if you are a fan of this wonderfull family.
Fantastic for Osmond Fans October 6, 2008 Diana (AZ) I am an admitted Osmond fan, and as a reporter, I have met every member of the Osmond family. So it was wonderful to get to "visit" with them on the 2-disc DVD. I do believe these DVD's give a good representation of the family, their talent, their genuine close-knit family ties. I like the variety of the different combinations of performances. I appreciated that we got to see the non-performing brothers, Virl and Tom, who happen to be my favorite Osmonds. What more can I say than: watching the Osmond 50th Anniversary DVD's made me happy?!
The Osmonds Live In Las Vegas September 7, 2008 Mrs. Maureen Bird (Australia) The video is jam packed with singing and interview. I thoroughly enjoyed watching both c.d's, but I wonder why the packaging shown is blue and the one that I received is yellow, is there a difference in content?
over the moon September 1, 2008 S. I. Browne (New Zealand) I am so happy with this dvd i was really bummed out that they did not come to New Zealand so this was really great to watch.
