great price-great product December 27, 2008 A. Rao (Portland, OR) The Brother laser printer is great (HQ 1200). Very affordable printer that prints very fast (23ppm). The toner cartridge drops right in, super easy. Amazon had the best price on the net for the cartridge. It shipped quickly, arrived in good condition and was packaged well. A. Rao (Portland, OR)
Should print approximately 2,600 pages... does it? December 27, 2008 L. Watson (Louisiana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have just ordered the Brother MFC 7840 printer and have been reading about the toner refills. The manual says the hi yield TN-360 (OEM) will print approximately 2,600 pages! It appears the starter toner that comes with the new printer will print about 700 pages. The low yield prints about 1500 pages. This product is not OEM... but appears people are satisfied... are you sure you are getting the recommended pages? I want to know so that I might try this product out to save money. The best price I've seen so far for the Hi Yield OEM toner to fit this printer costs about $55. Users please post how many pages you are getting from this replacement toner! It will help others, thank you. I plan to update my review and give more stars if the toner gets over 2500 pages at least.
Works fine and easy to replace into printer December 24, 2008 Viv (NJ) I bought the Brother 2140 and decided to buy an additional toner cartridge while I was at it. Eventually the toner that comes with the printer ran out of ink. I replaced it with the TN360 which was a piece of cake. No complaints yet.
This cartridge is NOT made by Brother OEM cartridge December 7, 2008 Office Gopher (Los Angeles, CA.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is NOT a genuine Brother cartridge. It is a Brother "COMPATIBLE" made by other manufacture. I would think the presentation of product manufacture of this page is somewhat misleading (Genuie Brother Cartridge picture and other product by Brother). Especially, when a search of brother TN360 in Amazon presnted other 3rd party manufacture cleary label their product as compitible. The good news is Amazon's return process is easy. The bad news is return credit will requird apporx 3 weeks to process. I will post whether I have received credit in about 3 weeks.

The TN360 High yield cartridge replaced a starter on my MFC-7840W which tallied up 638 pages(this thing actually counts them up) It gives you a warning on its little screen that your toner is low, about 50 pages from the end. When the end comes it gives you a set of warning beeps and then it will not do the next job.I am the type who gets a cartridge when I put the current one in, and so I am shopping tonite. My feeling if this works well with their brand, why mess with it?I was quite concerned if I could do this when I opened the box, read the detailed instructions and saw astounding line drawings accompanying.I thought OH-OH brain surgery. Not. Straightforward the quality and continuity is astounding. So relieved to be out of that HP inkjet, all the mess and cost. Will the cartridge be difficult to recycle? More on this later.
