We've been using Pearlyt pet shampoo for over 5 years. We have a dog with food allergies and skin allergies. Controlling his diet helps with the skin condition. However, any "normal" shampoo irritates his skin to no end. Using Pearlyt soothes his skin and keeps him from itching. If your dog has a skin condition, I recommend changing their diet to something with no gluten in it. I also highly recommend changing their shampoo to Pearlyt pet shampoo. The gallon size will last a very long time and is cheaper in the long run than buying 16 oz bottles every 6 months.
